Ah! It’s already March!! Are you ready to lose weight fast and sustainably? If you’re on my side of the world, summer is coming and many of us are thinking… ohhhkay it’s time to get my butt into action so I can feel strong and confident this summer.
Today we’re making a plan! Go grab your pen and paper- and we are getting into action with the Fit Mom Formula for quick and lasting weight loss! Let’s go!

Step 1: Fast Weight Loss Preparation:
First, let’s focus on fast weight loss preparation with three key steps:
Step 2: Focus on Real Food:
For the next 10 days, prioritize real food. If God made it, it’s fair game. Simplify your diet and plan meals and snacks accordingly.
No macro counting or calorie counting required! You do not need to rely on intermittent fasting, Weight Watchers, Optavia or any of the latest and greatest fad diets. Instead, simplify your diet by just focusing on real food. Our next Real Food Reset inside of Fit Moms Accelerator starts on March 14!

Step 3: Stay Hydrated:
Hydration is crucial for energy and weight loss. Aim for at least 72 oz of water daily to support your journey.
More water helps you stay fuller longer. Staying hydrated helps eliminate confusion between true hunger and being thirsty.
Step 4: Increase Movement:
Challenge yourself to increase daily step count to boost calorie burn and momentum, even with a busy schedule.
Aim for an extra 2-4 thousand steps daily to burn an extra 100-200 calories per day. All of the little things add up to big things when you’re trying to lose weight fast!
Step 5: Reflect on Your “Why”:
Reflect on why you’re on this journey, aligning it with your Christian values and legacy. Pray for strength and clarity as you continue forward.
Remember that your “yes” to get well has the potential to influence your great-great grandchildren! Your “yes” to lose weight for the last time will show your kids what it means to live a healthy lifestyle, every day.
The weight loss journey is for you, but not only for you! Take some time to journal about who is influenced by your decision to get well.
Step 6: Clear Out Temptations:
Eliminate food temptations from your pantry to prioritize your well-being and resist unhealthy choices.
I know, you’ve spent your hard-earned money on junk food and it feels painful to throw it away. Do it anyway! It’s serving nobody and only making it harder for you to achieve your weight loss goals.
Step 7: Set Boundaries:
Establish boundaries around eating after 7 PM to promote mindful eating and overnight fasting, beneficial for overall health.
Boundaries and times of discipline help eliminate all or nothing thinking. Make it easy on yourself, and say no to night-time snacking.
Rarely are our late night snacks good decisions that serve our health goals (bowl of cereal and chips, anyone?). When you have a clear boundary of “no” for a season, you can focus on other promptings of the Holy Spirit without all the decision fatigue.
Step 8: Break Up with All-or-Nothing Thinking:
Release the pressure of perfection and embrace progress over perfection. Commit to consistency and grace in your health journey.
Nobody, including God, expects you to master this area of your life without slip-ups or even splurges at times.
I do not eat perfectly, and I don’t expect you would either.
I don’t exercise every day, and certainly don’t want you to quit trying just because you miss a day when “life” happened.
Instead of being all or nothing, let’s be all in… Each day, let’s be committed to doing whatever we can to honor our bodies and treat them really really well for His glory.
Step 9: Focus on Protein:
Ensure you’re getting enough protein to support muscle growth and satiety. Incorporate real food protein snacks into your daily routine.

Step 10: Reflect and Plan Ahead:
